John Grayson is a narrative metal smith who uses traditional metal forming and decorating processes to create whimsical, humorous and decorative metal objects. Referencing objects from the past including Victorian, Edwardian and 1960’s tin toys and Georgian decorative enamel objects, he creates unique and limited edition craftwork that celebrate the past as well as document, challenge and parody contemporary culture.
